What's the difference between "Excellent" and "Very Good"?  

Great question — because "pre-owned" doesn't mean one-size-fits-all! We grade every Certified Pre-Owned machine so you know exactly what you're bringing home:

• Excellent — Looks and functions like new. Cosmetically pristine, very low hours, and freshly serviced by our certified technicians. If you want that "just unboxed" feeling without the just-unboxed price tag, this is it.

• Very Good — Fully tested, fully serviced, and stitching beautifully, with light cosmetic wear that reflects honest, loving use. Think of it as a machine with a little character and a lot of life left.

Both grades pass the same multi-point inspection and arrive ready to sew — the difference is purely cosmetic. We're happy to walk you through any machine in person so you can see (and feel) the difference for yourself.

Do CPO machines come with a warranty? 

Yes — peace of mind is included. Every Certified Pre-Owned machine we sell comes with a 30-day limited warranty covering parts and labor, a complimentary machine orientation class to get you started, and lifetime in-studio support. Optional extended protection plans are available at the time of purchase if you'd like even more coverage. Because a great machine is only as good as the confidence behind it — and we've got you on both counts.

Can I trade in my current machine?

We don't take trade-ins toward Certified Pre-Owned purchases — but we absolutely do when you're buying a brand-newmachine! If you've got a machine you're ready to upgrade from, bring it in for an in-studio evaluation and we'll apply its trade-in value toward a new BERNINA or Janome. No obligation, no pressure — just an honest assessment from folks who know these machines inside and out.

Tip: Bring your accessories, foot pedal, and power cord if you have them — a complete package means the best trade value.

Bring a project idea, a favorite fabric, or just your curiosity — sew a few seams, try the stitches, and make sure it feels like yours before you commit. ​What brands do you carry?

Janome and BERNINA are the stars of the show — as an authorized dealer for both, our Certified Pre-Owned machines from these brands are truly certified: inspected, serviced, and backed by our warranty and a complimentary machine orientation class.

But we're also a multi-brand studio, so you'll often find pre-loved machines from other makers on our floor. These go through the exact same multi-point inspection and professional servicing by our certified technicians — the only difference is we can't officially call them "certified" since we're not dealers for those brands. Same care, same testing, same readiness to sew — just a different label.
