Sew Magarbo is proud to offer in-store service, repair, tune-ups, and adjustments on sewing machines, and sergers.

We are also an authorized Janome, Babylock, & BERNINA dealer, which allow us to perform warranty work for these specific brands!

our procedure

 
 

  1. Make an appointment!​​​​

  2. Please bring the following:

    • Machine​

    • Foot pedal & power cord

    • Standard presser foot (allows straight stitch or zigzag) 

    • Bobbin in the bobbin case

    • Leave all other accessories @ home​

      • Any additional accessories will be given back. ​

                     If left behind, Sew Magarbo is not responsible for 

                     accessories left behind , either intentionally or

                     accidentally, while machine is serviced.

  1. ***FOR EMBROIDERY MACHINES
    ​Bring all of the above +++

    • The embroidery module. The embroidery presser foot

    • The embroidery bobbin case if your machine has one.

    • A hoop (either 4x4"-ish or 5x7"-ish).

      • *Sew Magarbo is not responsible for any designs you may have saved on your sewing machine. Please back up all designs before check-in.

AT CHECK-IN...

 

One of our associates will test the machine in front of you and initiate a conversation in order to properly communicate details to our technician (hence the importance of an appointment). Please notify us of all and any issues you are having with your machine, feel free to bring in samples! Thorough communication helps us, help you :)​

Once accessed, a service form will be provided to you that is required to be completely filled, including signatures. If not, we are not able to offer our services.  As mentioned, a $30 deposit is due at arrival.

We make every effort to repair all machines, please know that older machines are not guaranteed to be repairable. Please check in machines at your own discretion
