#cosmicxmasQAL: How to Join
It's sewww good to see you my favorite fabric friends! We totally needed someone to hold us accountable in finishing our holiday projects this year...what better way to do so through a quilt-along? Our QAL ("quilt-along"), will officially blast off on November 12th, 2022, but think of this as your "home-base" for your quilty needs. A place where you can safely return to retrieve all the information one needs to hop into this QAL.
We'll be using Modernly Morgan's Cosmic Crush pattern to complete this jolly (no pun intended) project! It is beginner-friendly, FQ friendly, no HST's, and no flying geese! Is Morgan our guardian angel or what? She's definitely mine 🥰. Not only that - WE HAVE KITS (link)!
To add to the fun, this QAL will feature weekly blog posts full of tips, tricks, community engagement and support, and PRIZES! Yahoo! Totally wraps up the whole Christmas vibe (dude, the puns are insane today)! Again, these blog posts will always be here for you in our blog. If you feel like the pace is going a bit too fast, do not fret! These posts are here FOR YOU!

The QAL is beginner and fat quarter friendly. It'll be a speedy 5 weeks (maybe even shorter for some). It officially starts November 12th 2022, but some of us take forever to pick fabrics (maybe only me), so let's start thinking about fabric selection...

Fabric Requirements
This was adapted from Morgan's pattern. Your fabric does NOT need to be xmas-themed! You are more than welcome to use a different color palette!
In ours we used "Jolly Darlings" & "Jolly Basics"! To make it easier for you, we kitted them! Now we can be twinsiez! These are 100% cotton (made in Japan) and feel so luxe!
