We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Madonna Rabatin, of Checker Distributors will be gracing us with her presence as our special guest speaker. a lifelong quilter whose passion for the craft began at the tender age of 12, learning the art of hand stitching on her family's front porch in rural Pennsylvania. Since completing her first quilt at 14, she has tirelessly crafted hundreds of quilts, infusing each with vibrant color and modern designs. Graduating from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, she pursued a career in graphic design before rediscovering her love for quilting in her late 30s.

Her journey has led her to embrace the joy of creating without the pressure of perfection, finding fulfillment in the smiles of those who receive her quilts. A dedicated volunteer, she honors her father, a WWII Navy vet, through her quilting work with Quilts of Valor. She also generously dedicates her time to volunteering at horse farms that provide adaptive riding for individuals with special needs. Join us as she shares her inspiring journey and insights into the world of quilting and community service.
