About the event

What is an orphan block?! An orphan block is a quilt block (or blocks) that hasn't made its way into a quilt or other project - YET! Most quilters have these tucked somewhere in their stash or sewing room. Or maybe you aren't a quilter, but have inherited quilt blocks from a family member.

Bring those orphan blocks and learn how to turn them into a tote bag! We'll give you ideas on how to "add to" the block, or piece the blocks together to create a one-of-a-kind tote bag. Then, we'll walk through the easy steps of making a tote bag.
