Mini of the Month: Botanics

For the October Mini of the Month, we’re going to explore raw edge applique! Botanics is a great pattern that can be made unique with its multiple designs, can be easily adapted to several projects (throw quilt, mini quilt, pillow sham, tote bag, table runner, the list goes on!) and can be made using needle-turn or raw edge applique. We’ll talk about different ways to make templates, options for basting the pieces down, and hand-stitching or machine stitching the pieces to the background.

What is our "Mini of the Month" series?

Learn a lifetime skill, not a project....each month will feature a mini quilt that can be hung on your wall, made into a pillow or a tote bag. All perfect to brighten up your day! Or perhaps, learn that 1 block and make it bigger for a throw, twin or king size quilt. It's up to you!
