Jump Into Sewing: Sewing Machine Basics

Have you been wanting to learn how to sew? Or, maybe you learned to sew in school, but need a refresher so you can make some awesome things that you’ve been seeing all over social media! This class is for YOU! This is class ONE of a series of skill building classes that will jump start you sewing all kinds of projects. 

We will start our sewing adventure by learning about the anatomy of a sewing machine and its basic stitches and functions.  After getting comfortable with the sewing machine, we’ll jump right into sewing and make a pocket pincusion - the perfect project for any new sewist. 

This class is designed for beginners, and no knowledge of using a sewing machine is necessary. Students will work at their own pace during class using studio machines.

Supplies: 

"Jump Into Sewing" book and other materials not included and must be purchased from Sew Magarbo to avoid mistakes and confusions. 10% discount provided off supplies!
