Jump Into Sewing: Heart Potholder

Learn how to make a useful, yet pretty potholder for your Valentine (or yourself). 

In this beginner class, students will make a heart-shaped potholder and learn a variety of skills along the way. 

Students will learn:

• To sew a curve
• Use a template
• Sew binding
• Simple quilting or sewing a decorative stitch

This class is designed for beginner sewists and basic knowledge of using a sewing machine is necessary. Students will work at their own pace during class using studio machines.

Supplies: 

• A class kit should be purchased at the time of sign-up. Please make sure to add the "supply" ticket as you check out.
• Supplies not included must be purchased from Sew Magarbo to help avoid confusions and mistakes. 10% discount provided off supplies!
