Jump Into Sewing!

Have you been wanting to learn how to sew? Want to make cool things that will be the envy of all your friends? Or, maybe you learned to sew in school, but need a refresher so you can make some awesome things that you’ve been seeing all over social media! This class is for YOU! 

We will start our sewing adventure by learning all about the sewing machine and how it works. We’ll also talk about different substrates of fabrics and when to use them, how to use a rotary cutter and how to pin your project properly before sewing. After getting comfortable with the sewing machine, we’ll jump right into sewing and start making! By the end of the sessions, you will have successfully made a pillow, pillowcase, and tote bag.

This class is designed for beginners, and no knowledge of using a sewing machine is necessary. Students will work at their own pace during class using studio machines. Work not completed during class to finish a project will need to be completed at home.

3 Sessions: October 20, October 27, and November 3, 2022; 6:30-9:30pm

Materials not included. 

Must be purchased from Sew Magarbo at 10% off to avoid confusion and erros on items for the said projects.
