About the event
Want to quilt your own quilts on your home sewing machine, but not ready to tackle free motion quilting? You’ll be amazed at the beautiful quilting you can do with a walking foot! In this class we’ll go over the basics of using a walking foot on your home sewing machine. We’ll cover the design and features of a walking foot, what tools are needed, and how to prepare your quilt. You’ll learn the basics of straight line quilting, as well as a few gentle curves, in this introductory class. You can use our classroom machines or bring your own machine with a walking foot.
Students must know how to use a sewing machine. No quilting experience necessary.
