Scrappy Applique- Paris Skyline

Join us for an immersive experience where you'll learn the art of Scrappy Applique, a simple and fun raw edge applique technique developed by Shannon Brinkley. We will finish a quilt top for wall hanging, appoximately 23"x29" .

Whether you're a seasoned sewist/quilter looking to refine your technique, or a confident beginner eager to expand your sewing repertoire, this class is perfect for you. No prior experience with applique is needed.

 Students will learn :

• Ins and outs of fusible webs; how to choose which one to use, and how to work with it
• How to cut, collage and finish a project using the Scrappy Applique technique

This class is designed for CONFIDENT BEGINNER who's made a quilt or two, but would like to learn a new applique technique and various finishing options especially for Scrappy Applique.  Not for someone without sewing experience. It is recommended that students have taken Machine Basics at Sew Magarbo, OR know how to use a sewing machine. Students will work at their own pace during class using studio machines.

• A kit with supplies to make a quilt top is included in the class fee - students will have the opportunity to select their own fabrics! Details can be found in the confirmation email.
