About the event
What is an orphan block?! An orphan block is a quilt block (or blocks) that hasn't made its way into a quilt or other project - YET! Most quilters have these tucked somewhere in their stash or sewing room. Or, maybe you aren't a quilter, but have inherited quilt blocks from a family member.
Bring those orphan blocks in and learn how to turn them into a project bag! We'll walk you through the steps of preparing your block, sewing a zipper, sewing with vinyl, and finishing.Â
