Get ready for the gift giving season! Traditionally, these pouches were used in Japan to carry rice offerings to the temple, or to hold gifts for friends or relatives. These adorable pouches make great gift packaging, project bags to carry your knitting or hand stitching, toy carriers for your littles...the possibilities are endless!
In this two-day workshop, you will learn how to make a beautiful, unique and customizable Japanese Rice Pouch. You will learn how to construct this pouch, in addition to making it uniquely yours. Skills taught will include: patchwork, Sashiko stitching, raw edge applique and fabric flowers.
