Mini of the Month: June -> Bow

This JUNE mini is Bow by Carolyn Friedlander. We're going to tackle needle-turn applique! Bow is a great pattern to learn this technique. We'll talk about different ways to make templates, the option to machine or hand baste, then dive into the applique process. 

What is our "Mini of the Month" series? 

Learn a lifetime skill, not a project...each month will feature a mini quilt that can be hung on your wall, made into a pillow or a tote bag. All perfect to brighten up your day! Or perhaps, learn that 1 block and make it bigger for a throw, twin or king size quilt. It's up to you!

HOMEWORK BEFORE CLASS:

• Trace curved templates onto applique paper (HNK water soluble reccommended)
• Press and starch fabrics to be used
• We provide the sewing machine!
