Mini of the Month: EPP Hexie Pillow

November’s Monthly Mini is all about English Paper Piecing (EPP). In this class you’ll learn all about the century old process of EPP. This is a great skill that is portable (think stitching in a car, on a plane, while waiting for an appointment….)!

EPP is a fun technique where fabric is wrapped around a piece of cardstock and then hand-stitched together to form creative designs.  In this class, we’ll show you the basics of the EPP technique and then give it a modern twist.  Students will quilt them onto a background, rather than hand stitch them together. The project can then be made into a mini wall hanging, tote bag, or pillow. The possibilities are endless!

What is our "Mini of the Month" series?

Learn a lifetime skill, not a project....each month will feature a mini quilt that can be hung on your wall, made into a pillow or a tote bag. All perfect to brighten up your day! Or perhaps, learn that 1 block and make it bigger for a throw, twin or king size quilt. It's up to you!
