Just in time for the holidays, create a festive pillow to adorn your living space or gift it to someone special. 

In this two-part class, you’ll learn all about the century old process of English Paper Piecing (EPP).  EPP is a fun technique where fabric is wrapped around a piece of cardstock and then hand-stitched together to form creative designs.  In this class, we’ll show you the basics of the EPP technique and then give it a modern twist.  Students will quilt the hexies onto a background, rather than hand stitch them together. You'll also learn a shortcut method that doesn't involve handstitching. Say what?!

We will then turn our quilted panel into a pillow with an envelope closure. EPP is a great skill that is portable (think stitching in a car, on a plane, while waiting for an appointment….) and addictive (you've been warned)!

With our shortcut method, you will be sewing hexies on all of your Christmas projects: stockings, table runners, tree skirt, and more!
